Abstract

The expansion of remote and hybrid work has produced substantial changes in professional relationships and organizational practices. This study examines the social consequences of working outside traditional office environments, focusing on workplace interaction, professional identity, collaboration, and work-life boundaries. It explores how employees maintain organizational relationships when face-to-face communication is reduced and how digital communication influences feelings of belonging and professional connection. The research also considers the potential advantages of remote work, including flexibility and autonomy, alongside challenges such as isolation, communication difficulties, and blurred boundaries between professional and personal life. The study highlights the importance of understanding remote work not simply as an employment arrangement but as a transformation of workplace social relations and organizational culture.
