Abstract

Novel drug delivery systems have emerged as an important approach for improving the efficacy, safety, and therapeutic performance of pharmaceutical agents. Conventional dosage forms may be associated with poor bioavailability, rapid drug elimination, and adverse effects. This paper examines recent approaches in advanced drug delivery, including nanoparticles, liposomes, microspheres, and targeted delivery systems. Particular attention is given to controlled drug release, drug stability, tissue targeting, and patient compliance. The study highlights the potential of innovative delivery technologies to overcome pharmacokinetic limitations and enhance therapeutic outcomes. Continued research and appropriate formulation optimization are essential for translating these technologies into safe and effective pharmaceutical products.
